High mountain oolong tea is probably the most famous tea to come out of Taiwan, with many souvenir shops and stores all across the island selling some version of it. It has also permeated its presence into the international stage, with the tea being commonplace in many asian supermarkets and restaurants across the world. However, good high mountain tea, exceptional, rather, is hard to find. A tea that makes you go, "Wow, this really is what high mountain tea is capable of!" Fortunately, I think we may have found it.
This tea is high mountain goodness. Hailing from the Zhangshuhu region of Alishan, one of the two famous tea regions in Alishan, the other being Shizhuo, this tea really epitomises what is so good about high mountain tea. A peach bomb of a tea, this tea is juicy yet airy, smooth yet complex, fruity yet floral. Creamy and milky notes also permeate throughout the mouth, giving you a tea session to remember. This tea is produced at a slightly higher elevation than most Alishan teas, which is likely a contributing factor to its wondrous taste. Try it today on our online store!

* Ultimately, experiment with the different parameters to find what works for you. If you think it's too bitter, reduce the temperature. If it's too strong, reduce the number of leaves used. This is just a guide with rough parameters to get you started.
